Lamp was shipped promptly and arrived in excellent condition. It arrived missing a connector for assembly. I've contacted the seller to request a replacement part and will advise in comments. Be aware that the shades are plastic, not glass. 1 of the shades is slightly discolored. I plan to maintain the lamp if I can get the element, but would probably not have ordered it had I identified about the shades.
Comply with up: Seller contacted me promptly and mailed the part. Lamp assembled readily and looks fantastic. I would choose glass shades, but then once again this is a $500-1000 style in a sub-$100 item. I'll get lots of use from it just before the shades turn color. It does use standard base incandescent bulbs, and would almost certainly fit CFLs while I don't use them unless I completely have to.
We had been looking for a light that is bright enough and at the exact same time can be used for directed lighting ( as a reading light). The adjustable angle tends to make it incredibly hassle-free.
We use energy star fluorescent light bulbs- It offers a lot of light without having heating up.
We like the appear of the lamp. We selected this just after a lot of over the internet study and there were not too plenty of contemporary looking lamps at this cost range.
The consumer service was incredibly satisfactory. The seller promptly sent a replacement lamp when 1 of the pieces did not fit nicely and followed up by email and telephone.
